Using Strategy, Analytics, and Entrepreneurial Best Practices to Optimize Organizational Efficiency
For the past three summers working as a sailing instructor at my local marina, I have struggled with the idea of loving the job but hating the workplace. I was willing to give up a cherished hobby, solely due to the impact of organizational inefficiencies such as lack of communication, transparency, and trust in the employees. This experience is one of the main drivers of my pathway as I aim to take coursework in strategy, entrepreneurship, finance, and behavioral economics. My coursework in OS will lay the foundation for a career in business strategy roles where I hope to work in either the financial or technology industry upon graduation.
