The Intersection of Law and Business Practices in the Making of an Effective Company Culture
Corporate interactions have a profound impact on the shaping of our modern-day society. Through my pathway, I am seeking to explore company culture and learn how to best utilize strategic practices to create effective organizations. Investing resources into developing productive organizations allows corporations to more positively impact the public and our greater society. Having taken classes such as Organizational Wrongdoing, Modern Corporations, and Communications, I have established a base in my knowledge of organizational leadership and corporate practices. Pursuing classes within the Business school as well as Organizational Studies courses such as Negotiations will expand my knowledge of strategic business practices and how these can be utilized to better connect organizations with positive social change. Exploring company policy as well as legal policies is critical in fully establishing options for corporations and identifying opportunities. My minor in French and Francophone Studies will expose me to another sphere of societal learning through courses such as Business French and French Culture and Society, allowing me to gain a more complete understanding of international organizational dynamics. I intend to use the plethora of courses available in Organizational Studies to my advantage and craft an educational experience that will aid me in a future career in law.
