Organizational Growth and Innovation Through Cross-Cultural Marketing
The first fifteen years of my life were full of sudden upheavals moving between five countries in Asia. Being exposed to so many different cultures in such a short period of time, I became curious about how different cultures interpret ideas in diverse and unique ways. Through Organizational Studies, I plan to focus on global marketing to gain an understanding of how organizations can grow and develop by working multi-nationally, and how open-minded leaders can better foster innovation by being willing to be the first to forge change in an already ever-changing business world. Understanding different cultures are key to marketing globally, and taking marketing and cross-cultural business courses will teach me how to create unique messaging that will resonate in different markets. Combining this passion with my Asian Languages and Cultures Minor in Chinese, I plan to live abroad and create business campaigns that will influence people of all backgrounds.
