Promoting Positive and Efficient Workplaces Through an Understanding of Human Capital Management
Organizational culture is inextricably linked to the people who shape it. Generating a positive business climate is contingent on the relationships between its constituents. Human Capital Management is the catalyst of these relationships, a propellant for positive organizational climates. Within my pathway, I hope to analyze what cultivates success in companies with nurturing and productive cultures, emphasizing inclusivity and prosocial practices.
Further, my fervent interest in promoting positive workplaces was born from taking coursework in disability studies. Analyzing ableism and its ubiquitous nature in organizations has ignited my aspiration to curtail the use of disability as one’s salient trait. With institutional ableism as a persistent problem in organizations, I see understanding organizational relationships as the first step to incite change.
