Understanding Governmental Change and Its Strategy
Through my education in Organization Studies, I’d like to better understand the relationship between governmental bodies, and the organizations within them, and measurable change in the 21st century. More specifically, I’d like to understand how governmental bodies can either exact change or retain the status quo due to pressure from external organizations. Furthermore, I’d like to assess the strategic deployment of legislative change, or other forms of change to appease external bodies. In terms of focusing on 21st-century issues, I’d like to specifically examine the relationship between governmental bodies and fostering measurable, positive change in space of sustainability and climate change impacts. Accordingly, my concentration of classes through the Organizational Studies program will be focused within Political Science, Environmental Science, Sociology, and Psychology.
