Managing Strategic Decision-Making and Marketing Through a Consumer-Focused Lens in an Era of Change
I have always been intrigued by the behind-the-scenes decision-making processes of organizations and the way these decisions are viewed by consumers. In this era of unprecedented innovation and social change, I am especially interested in identifying how organizations can adapt their strategy in order to maintain relevance in the minds of consumers. Specifically, marketing is a vital tool for any organization, but the right strategy is always changing. Through a multi-disciplinary approach, my goal is to develop skills that will not only allow me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the current market, but will also help me to constantly evolve with it, adapting strategies as needed. With courses in a variety of subjects, including marketing, psychology, communications, and management, I plan to use my Organizational Studies degree to help organizations use knowledge about consumer behavior in order to develop effective strategy and maximize success.
