Catalyzing Culture Change by Translating Diversity and Inclusion
There’s growing recognition of how critical diversity, equity, and inclusion is to organizational performance in all sectors—private, public, and non-profit. However, the challenge is translating these words into concrete, impactful action. Explicit commitment to these values is the behavior that is needed to foster a comfortable and proactive space: one where personal, social, and societal purpose coexist. My belief is that transparency around ethical business practices motivates a positive workplace culture, as responsible undertaking is recognized at all levels of employment. With a cyclical relationship of being good and doing good, people and organizations will be in alignment. From employee experience to human experience, work then offers the opportunity to invest in passion and personal growth. On the leadership end, this environment is one that drives innovation, shapes careers, and changes corporate behavior. My pathway focuses on reinventing the potential of work with the focus shifted on people being an organization’s most important asset.
