Pursuing Organizational Transparency in Marketing Practices for the Betterment of the Healthcare Industry
Every individual deserves to receive complete transparency from organizations aimed at making their lives easier, which is why I am motivated to pursue a career in law. I am interested in the psychology behind organizational decision making and how oversights in their advertising and marketing strategies can lead to a lack of transparency. Specifically, I am concerned by the lack of transparency from healthcare institutions and hope to ensure organizations are held accountable for wrongdoing and discrimination. Despite an individual's racial or socio-economic background, they should not face disenfranchisement by our healthcare systems. I plan to take courses that strengthen my understanding of marketing methods, public health concerns, and the law. By combining my unique set of interests through OS, I will strive to learn how an organization's marketing practices are determined. I will also learn how to pinpoint drawbacks in their strategies to improve the public's interactions with organizations. Whether as a medical malpractice lawyer or by exploring careers in the future, I will strive to improve our healthcare systems and look forward to being instrumental in the betterment of organizations.
