About
What do you appreciate most about the Hub and why?
As a transfer student to the University of Michigan, I appreciate the inclusivity that the Hub has provided. It has made me feel welcomed on campus.
What did you want to be when you were a first-year in high school, and how have your goals changed shape since you came to U-M?
When I was a first-year in high school, I pictured myself becoming a doctor. I had no idea what I wanted to specialize in, but I knew I wanted to help others live healthy lives through the use of medicine. The courses I have taken at the University of Michigan have only reinforced my aspiration towards helping others, but now I share a keen interest of specializing in Ophthalmology.
What is it about an LSA education that you've found the most exciting or valuable?
An LSA education has allowed me to build connections with diverse professors who are experts in their field of study. I have also enjoyed the ability to explore different courses outside my major.
What advice do you have for students for them to get the most out of their time in LSA and at U-M?
I would recommend students to seek out as many resources and opportunities that the University of Michigan has to offer. I would also advise students to continue chasing their dreams and aspirations.
