About
What do you appreciate most about the Hub and why?
Due to the broad nature of a liberal arts education, I believe that LSA students are uniquely able to be exceptionally diverse in thought which allows them to be especially critical thinkers and effective team players. I love that the Hub is a resource that allows liberal arts students to capitalize on these strengths and enables their education to shine through in a way that gives them the opportunity to achieve their goals and make the greatest possible impact on the world.
What did you want to be when you were a first-year in high school, and how have your goals changed shape since you came to U-M?
When I was a first-year in high school I wanted to be a doctor to help people on the most fundamental level -- their health. Since coming to U-M I have discovered that there are many other ways to help people and the one that I think aligns best with my passions is through organizations. I have found that organizations have the power to impact lives positively in a multidimensional way by bringing a diverse set of people together.
What is it about an LSA education that you've found the most exciting or valuable?
I love that I have had the resources to first explore the many ways in which I can apply my interests to make an impact on the world and then hone in on what I see is most fitting.
What advice do you have for students for them to get the most out of their time in LSA and at U-M?
Be open to new experiences, ways of thinking, and people! There is so much to learn from each person you meet in LSA and at U-M if you are simply receptive to it.
