About
What do you appreciate most about the Hub and why?
I appreciate how the Hub really commits itself to help provide for students along their journey here at Umich and beyond.
What did you want to be when you were a first-year in high school, and how have your goals changed shape since you came to U-M?
When I was a freshman in high school, I honestly I had no idea what I wanted to be. Then college came around and I decided on neuroscience, because it seemed like a safe option. However, I soon realized it was not a good fit for me, spent a lot of time looking for a new career pathway, and finally settled on Information with a focus on UX design.
What is it about an LSA education that you've found the most exciting or valuable?
The most excited aspect of an LSA education was the amount of options available to me. If I had never been able to take the huge variety of the classes that I had during my early college career, I don't know where I would have ended up and I'm glad that I am where I am now.
What advice do you have for students for them to get the most out of their time in LSA and at U-M?
I recommend that students really try taking random classes that seem interesting to them rather than just to fulfill requirements. Who knows, it could lead to them changing their career path to something completely different like it did for me.
