My role within the LSA Opportunity Hub as a Hub Coach is to support students in their exploration of the liberal arts and co-curricular opportunities as it pertains to their future goals and aspirations. I am able to support students through 1:1 coaching, workshop facilitation, and referall to other campus resources.
I completed my bachelors degree from a small, liberal arts college in Michigan, Albion College. During my undergraduate career, I built a foundation of transferable skills, which I attribute to my liberal arts education and continue to carry with me today. Curiosity, open mindedness, and co-curriculuar involvement are among the skills that I contniue to exercise in my professional practice. Many of my professional expereinces have been working with students in 1:1 and group settings at smaller colleges or universities. I am excited to bring my perspective of wokring at small universities to my work with students at the University of Michigan to make a large university seem small and easy to navigate. I am excited to support students in navigating their liberal arts education at the University of Michigan in order to make intentional progress towards their future goals and aspirations.
