About
Amber works with the Employer Engagement team to develop impactful and meaningful relationships with employers to create opportunities that will assist students with uncovering their passions, whether that would be joining the workforce or other possible paths. She believes it is critical to give liberal arts and sciences students the opportunity to engage and learn from employers directly and to gain insights and knowledge that furthers their career exploration, strengthens their professional development, and ultimately prepares them for life after college.
Amber believes that LSA students develop critical 21st century skills and competencies that make them a valuable asset to the ever-changing workforce. Of the skills that are highly valued in today’s market, critical thinking and communication rank at the top of employers’ lists. A liberal arts education provides a multitude of opportunities for students to cultivate and execute these and other highly valued skills that provide a competitive edge and lead to long-term success.
