Explore Student Organizations at Festifall on Friday, Sept. 8

With more than 1,500 student organizations on U-M's campus, there are opportunities to contribute, lead, and learn in every kind of way this year, from the Dead Pizza Society (a group of hungry deep thinkers) to the Michigan Foreign Policy Council (students who research and debate the role of the U.S. in the world). Festifall, taking place Friday, Sept. 8 from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Central Campus Diag, is a chance to explore all your options in one place, with representatives from hundreds of student orgs available to answer questions and help you sign up. The Hub team encourages students to use Festifall as a time to explore all the ways you can participate in campus culture; student organizations are a great way to explore your interests and expand your network of Leaders and Best. And I was so frustrated. We all have a communal investment in the Earth, and some people just don’t realize that.” Read more...

I know a lot of people who panic at that question, but I’ve got a pretty good grasp on who I am. I know that I love travelling because I get to experience new cultures, learn about history, and that I believe there is always more learning to do. I know that I don’t want to sit behind a desk all day because I’ve done it and I know I work best in an active, team environment that requires critical thinking.” Read more...
