Jeffrey Seller—LSA alum and tour-de-force producer behind Hamilton—is coming to campus Friday, Sept. 21 to speak with students about his path from LSA to Broadway.

Seller has checked an impressive list of achievements off his bucket list: producing the above-mentioned theatrical juggernaut, as well as Rent and Avenue Q; winning multiple Tony awards; thinking up ways to make Broadway tickets more accessible to all; and producing a TV musical for NBC.

He’ll share insights into what it took to achieve such a whirlwind career when he speaks with undergrads during a discussion hosted by the LSA Opportunity Hub, which works with students to connect their liberal arts education to their goals and aspirations. Facilitating dialogue between LSA students and alumni from every industry is one important element of the Hub’s work.

The 3 p.m. talk will be in Palmer Commons’ Forum Hall. Though RSVPs for the session are full, students can participate in the conversation via the Instagram Live streaming on U-M’s College of LSA page (@umichlsa).
