Considering grad school?

The Graduate School Resource Fair on Wednesday, March 7 is a prime opportunity to talk to program reps about what they seek in applicants, and to learn firsthand from grad students about how they’re navigating the process.

The fair takes place in the Michigan League Ballroom that day from 6 to 8:15 p.m. There will be light hors d’oeuvres served to attendees and space to learn in an informal setting.

Representatives from programs in law, education, dental, public health, and others will be on hand to answer questions. The U-M Office of Financial Aid will also be present to answer questions about funding your graduate degree.

“This is an easy way to learn what to expect from the application process,” said Michael Joiner-Hill, a coach in the LSA Opportunity Hub and one of the event’s organizers. “It’s also a chance to research how to make yourself a strong applicant.”

The fair is co-organized by the LSA Opportunity Hub and the LSA Comprehensive Studies Program.
