Thursday, September 22, 2022
11:00 AM-2:00 PM
2001 LSA Building Map
In this informal come-as-you-are event, LSA students will hear from a roundtable of representatives from companies spanning various industries to discover the myriad of professional pathways that an LSA degree unlocks. These are real people from real employers with real experiences to share. No résumé exchanges or fussy suits—these sessions invite students to explore and understand, rather than compete. Come ask your burning questions from people whose careers you admire the most and tap into the power of their hard-earned wisdom and experience.

A list of confirmed employers in attendance will be shared closer to the event with students who RSVP.

You should attend this Employer Connection if you are:
-An LSA undergraduate student
-First- and second-year students are encouraged to attend along with first-generation and transfer students.
-Still exploring potential career paths
-Eager to ask questions and receive feedback from industry professionals who are eager to share their career successes and challenges

What you’ll gain by attending:
-Get the chance to ask questions directly of seasoned professionals and walk away with invaluable information
-Gain insights from working professionals who harnessed the power of their liberal arts degrees to break into rapidly expanding industries.
-Create valuable connections with professionals in your desired career path
