The coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has caused economic hardship for individuals, businesses and communities across the globe. Join us for an engaging panel discussion with U-M alums about how the data and technology sectors have been impacted both by the current pandemic and the economic recession. Industry professionals Reene, Tina, Joel, and George will share insight on how their work has adapted to address the ever-shifting and unpredictable variables of an outbreak like COVID-19, how hiring in these sectors have been affected, the ways that current LSA students can continue to explore these industries, and strategies for securing an internship or job in this new environment. Panelists with LSA degrees will connect the dots on how they used their liberal arts education to thrive in the technology market.
