What should I expect from the registration process?
Sign up for LSA Connect using your umich login. LSA Connect will prompt you to provide information on your education, professional interests, and demographics. This information allows LSA Connect to provide suggestions of who to connect with. It also allows the alums you connect with to learn more about you and your interests.
What are the features of LSA Connect?
LSA Connect allows members to access the large network of Michigan’s LSA alums. Joining LSA Connect gives you the chance to engage in discussions or connect with alums one-on-one. You can also join groups with specialized topics or industries to have a more intimate community and more specialized discussions.
Who can access and use LSA Connect?
The full launch of LSA Connect will be in fall 2020. For now, students are added to the platform on an invite-only basis. If you wish to join the platform, you may reach out for an invite request. This platform is exclusively for LSA students and LSA alums.
Who can view my profile information?
Alums only have access to your information once you reach out to them to determine if the mentoring connection is a good fit. Other students do not have access to your profile.
What if I forgot my username and password?
- On the homepage, click "Sign In" in the upper right corner.
- Select your sign-in method.
- Click the blue "Forgot Password or Create New Password" button.
- Enter your email and click "Send Password Reset Link."
- Check your email for the password reset email. (Don't see it? Check spam!)
- When the password reset email arrives, click the link in it.
- A new tab will open in which you can follow the instructions to create a new password and sign in.

Is there a mobile app? How do I use LSA Connect on my tablet or phone?
We don't currently have a mobile app, but we've designed the site to work well on phones and tablets as well as larger devices.
