Meeting students face-to-face is one of the most effective ways to enhance your outreach and recruiting efforts. One of the best ways is to host an information session or recruiting event to reach a select group of candidates with the details of your internship program or post-grad opportunities. Whether you want to host an information session or recruiting event, attend an internship fair, or host a coffee chat, we have the vast resources, tools and space for you to do so.

At the Hub, we are committed to providing authentic ways for you to connect with LSA students so that purposeful recruiting can unfold in meaningful ways.

How can you tap into the power of the Hub’s reach and engagement with students?

Employer Connections brings employers and LSA students together for conversations that are meaningful and purposeful. Apart from providing general information, students come to these sessions with burning questions for recruiters about the organizations they represent:

  • What makes this organization unique?

  • What are the short-term and long-term objectives of the organization?

  • How is the training or orientation program for new employees structured?

  • What characteristics would the ideal job candidate have for this position?

  • What have other interns and new LSA grads done at the company in the past?

  • What are the areas of anticipated growth for the company?

  • What are the opportunities for advancement?

  • What should I emphasize in my resume, cover letter, or application materials that will catch the attention of recruiters like yourself?

  • What does the work look like for a specific role? Or day in the life of a specific role the organization is recruiting for?

What sets these sessions apart is the flexibility to determine their size and format: if you would like to create a small-group setting that allows for deeper exploration and learning, student attendance can be capped. But if you’d like to reach a large number of LSA students, panel events like our Industry Insiders bring multiple employers together for students to learn about an industry firsthand through roundtable Q&A and conversations with employer representatives or recruiters at your organization.
