Welcome to the Office of National Scholarships and Fellowships (ONSF), we're looking forward to meeting with you!
ONSF provides advising and application support for our portfolio of scholarships and fellowships. Please refer to our partner offices (e.g. the International Institute, International Center, or the Center for Global and Intercultural Study (CGIS)) for advising on other opportunities.
Due to the nature of scholarship application cycles, ONSF frequently experiences periods where appointment demands exceed our availability. Please:
- If you cannot make your appointment, cancel as soon as possible to allow other students the opportunity to seek advising.
- Refer to our list of scholarships and fellowships. While we may direct you to fellowships not in our portfolio, advising appointments are reserved specifically for the scholarships and fellowships we offer support for.
- Limit appointments to once per week. If you sign up for multiple appointments, all but the earliest appointment you make will be cancelled.
- Seek appointments well in advance of scholarship deadlines to ensure your needs are met.
Advising appointments are suitable for:
Prospective Applicants: Students and alumni who are new to ONSF, and those who have already researched their intended program.
Current Applicants: Those applying for one or more ONSF scholarships or fellowships in the current academic year.
Debrief Sessions: Applicants or finalists who have concluded the application process who want to discuss their application, interview, selection process, or decision.
If no appointments are available in a given week, we encourage you to reach out to our office at [email protected] and we will work to accommodate your needs. Prioritiy advising is given to:
- Students and alumni who have partially or fully completed an application.
- Current nominees and semi-finalists.
- Students and alumni who are seeking a follow-up appointment.
- Former applicants seeking a debrief appointment.
Note: ONSF currently advises only LSA applicants to the Wallenberg Fellowship. Applicants outside of LSA should seek advising from their school/college’s Wallenberg Fellowship Campus Contact.
