Hi! My name is Sanjna and I’m a senior majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Business. My plan is to pursue medical school and hopefully become a physician. Outside of classes, I’ve been working in the Hume lab on nicotinic acetylcholine receptors and as a project manager in the Capital Consulting Group on projects such as Perch and March of Dimes. I volunteer at the Glacier Hills Senior Living Center and St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor. Aside from that, I love to read and cook! Feel free to stop by to talk about being pre-med, majors and minors, choosing classes, extracurricular opportunities, research or anything at all!
Hello! My name is Soverno (Sereno) and I am a senior majoring in Microbiology. I plan to pursue a degree in Public Health after graduating since my current undergraduate major sparked an interest in my future career/educational goals. On campus, I am involved in a research lab dealing with the interactions between bone cells and extracellular matrix during skeletal growth/development. I also volunteer in Michigan's hospital and facilitate conversational speaking sessions for secondary English language speakers. During the summer of my freshman year, I took classes at the Biological Station. In the summer of my sophomore year, I studied abroad in the field of Public Health in the Dominican Republic. In my free time, I like to take a jog through the Arb if the weather is nice and go around downtown Ann Arbor trying new restaurants. Feel free to stop by my office hours anytime you want advice, need help choosing classes, or anything else!
