About
Emma Soberano is a doctoral candidate in English Language and Literature at the University of Michigan. Her research and teaching tackle race, ecology, epistemology, and empire in British literature of the long Nineteenth Century. Prior to her time at Michigan, Emma worked as a bilingual literacy tutor at a predominantly Latine elementary school in Austin, TX.
At the NCID, Emma assists with the development of a new platform providing evidence-based resources and experiences for supporting transformation in higher education.
