About
Dr. Meg Bates is an educational researcher with a deep interest in transforming education so it works for all learners. She is currently the Director of the Illinois Workforce and Education Research Collaborative, working to study and improve education across Illinois. She holds PhD and MA degrees in educational psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a BA in english secondary education from Millikin University.
Current Work:
Dr. Bates is currently directing a research collaborative devoted to understanding and co-constructing solutions to persistent problems in the cradle-to-career pipeline in Illinois.
