Khadijah White is a faculty member in the Department of Journalism and Media Studies at the School of Communication and Information at Rutgers University in New Brunswick. White researches race, media, gender, and politics, and has conducted ethnographic media research in the United States, Australia, and South Africa. Previously, she worked as a journalist on an Emmy-nominated team at NOW on PBS and served as a White House intern on the Obama administration’s Broadcast Media team.
Current Work:
Dr. White is currently working on a book manuscript on the news media and the branding of the Tea Party.
