Dr. Donnor earned his PhD in curriculum and instruction from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, an MA from The Ohio State University, and his BA from Washington State University. Prior to arriving at William & Mary, Dr. Donnor served on the full-time faculty at the California State University at Fullerton in the Department of African American Studies in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. His recent publications include the following co-edited volumes: Scandals in College Sports: Legal, Ethical, and Policy Case Studies; The Charter School Solution: Distinguishing Fact From Rhetoric; and the second edition of Critical Race Theory in Education: All God's Children Got a Song, all with Routledge Press.
Current Work:
Currently, Dr. Donnor is working on an interdisciplinary research project examining the disparate impact and legacy costs associated with public opposition to policies that expand learning opportunities for African American public school students in Mississippi.
