Current Work:
My current research explores how campus structures and administrative practices relate to and influence conventional and transgressive political processes. I am currently engaged in a study which evaluates the manner in which faculty service is mediated by one's gender and race, and the impact these processes have on democratic decision making within a university environment. Additionally, I was recently awarded a grant to build a dataset cataloguing campus protest and mobilization events using machine learning informatics techniques. This dataset will allow us to explore the relationships between campus structural characteristics and subsequent episodes of stakeholder mobilization.
