Once an undocumented immigrant from Guatemala, Dra. Aurora Chang is now a hyperdocumented professor. A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley (BA), Stanford (master's), and The University of Texas at Austin (PhD), she serves as associate professor and chair of the Higher Education Program at Loyola University Chicago, National Center for Faculty Diversity and Development Liaison and Coach, and an educational consultant. Her research focuses on the identity, education, and agency of marginalized students.
Current Work:
Currently, Dra. Chang's research focuses on the ways in which undocumented and multiracial college students make meaning of their complex identities, resist and persist in educational settings.
