Dr. Alex A. Erolin is a retired US Air Force officer who served in leadership roles in the Balkans, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. After his military service, he worked as international humanitarian aid worker leading disaster relief operations in Africa, Eastern Europe, South and Central Asia, and Southeast Asia. His international experience led to his scholarly interests in multiculturalism and multicultural organizations.
Current Work:
Erolin's research interest is in investigating the mediating factors in the implicit association of gender and race with effective leadership. In addition, he is interested exploring the reasons behind the persistent salience of race as a principal social categorization.
