About
Dr. Bondi has experience working in Higher Education and Student Affairs for 20 years. Focusing on dominance and oppression, how systems of oppression are connected, and Student Affairs preparation Dr. Bondi is focused on putting theories and concepts into practice in Higher Education through creating more equitable teaching environments for students and working environments for faculty/staff. She applies her and s' scholarship to educational practices like admissions, hiring, and policy making to create more equity.
Current Work:
Dr. Bondi's next project will be helping graduate students studying Higher Education reach their capacity for addressing systemic inequalities in Higher Education through awareness, community building, visioning, and practice. Specifically, in for the area of practice, she will use virtual reality simulations to have students practice dialogue across difference, bystander intervention, and responding to bias incidents.
