The fellow will work closely with a group of developmental scientists to design, launch, and evaluate a public clearinghouse of knowledge regarding racism and xenophobia in childhood and adolescence. The fellow will work with U-M co-leads Dr. Deborah Rivas-Drake, professor of psychology and education and Dr. Enrique Neblett, professor of health behavior and health education, but will have ample opportunities to work with scholars in other disciplines and at other universities inside and outside the US to publish (both collaboratively and as lead author); receive mentorship in the conduct of complex and multidisciplinary research; and translate findings to parents, educators, and community-based organizations in an actionable and timely manner.

The initial appointment will be for one year, with the potential for renewal for a second year.
