The U-M Library, LSA Technology Services, and the National Center for Institutional Diversity’s Anti-Racism Collaborative are pleased to announce the next round of our initiative to support digital scholarship that advances work in the areas of anti-racism, anti-colonialism, and social justice. The Anti-Racist Digital Research Institute is a week-long institute and mini-grant program providing funding to help develop digital research project ideas and provide planning support for the conceptualization of a project focusing on anti-racist or reparative research methodologies. This institute will award a maximum of 6 (six) grants of $5,000 each, and provide awardees with a week-long institute where they will work with peers and digital scholarship technical and methodological experts to help develop an ethical, sustainable, justice-oriented digital project proposal or plan for awardees. Applications are open to faculty (all ranks), post-doctoral researchers, graduate students, and staff on the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Flint campuses. Applications are accepted until 11:59 p.m. Eastern on December 22, 2023. Learn more about the application at digitalscholarship.umich.edu
