MRADS and UROP

Michigan Research and Discovery Scholars (MRADS) is the residential affiliate of the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP).

MRADS students participate in UROP research projects. In addition, MRADS students live together, enroll in ALA 104: “Introduction to Research,” attend MRADS-specific seminars, and meet with in-house MRADS Peer Advisors.

At the end of the winter term, MRADS has a Spring Research Symposium that is separate from UROP. Faculty sponsors submit progress reports and grades for MRADS students through the UROP portal, and MRADS accesses this information through UROP’s database. MRADS students also complete research contracts and submit time sheets.

For questions or feedback about MRADS or students in MRADS, faculty should contact [email protected].
