MES professor in Second Temple Judaism and Christian Origins, Gabriele Boccaccini, was presented a Festschrift by his students and colleagues on his 60th birthday.

The volume was edited by former MES doctoral students Harold Ellens, Isaac Oliver, Jason von Ehrenkrook, James Waddell, and Jason Zurawski. More than 40 international specialists from the United States, Europe and Israel contributed to the publication with articles ranging from Jewish apocalyptism, to Christian Origins and the Partings of the Ways between Christianity and Judaism. The 600-page volume, published by deGruyter, was presented at the Society of Biblical Literature (SBL) meeting on November 17, 2018 in a special session organized by the Enoch Seminar with a large audience of colleagues and friends.
