Coming from Ontario, California, I am a recent graduate from the University of Michigan where she majored in General Studies. I am drawn to MCSP because it is community-driven with an intentional purpose to serve others and ourselves. As a recently graduated student, I realize communities are an integral part of students' growth and well-being while navigating through the college experience. A meaningful support network is what feeds students with a positive narrative. My intention is to take all of my experiences and apply ideas to reach outcomes where the program is a source of vitamins for our students. I wish to continue being a part of processes that empower students. This is my opportunity to continue dedicating myself to a life-long learning process that makes others feel heard, seen, appreciated, and valued. An interesting fact about myself is that I worked construction with my dad growing up.

In my free time I enjoy cosplaying. I love to get the hands-on experience of creating and thinking of innovative ways to bring together a character from scratch. I mostly have done Marvel and Star Wars characters. The best feeling is putting on the final piece and looking in the mirror and being at my happiest because it is my work to call my own. Although this process can take a few months to see a final outcome, it is something I could never get bored of. Although there are moments when tasks can get tedious, it is something I still commit to because it is what I love to do, and I am willing to see it through despite the challenges that present themselves in each unique project.
