Help us sustain MCSP’s transformative community this year and every year by making a gift to the MCSP Strategic Fund. Now more than ever, your support makes a significant difference to the program and our students. As we face together the challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic, economic inequality, and systemic racism, MCSP works diligently and intentionally to create a civically engaged, diverse, and dialogic learning community where students can connect, grow, and thrive at U-M.
Your contribution to the strategic fund supports the many student-led initiatives at MCSP, fostering the next generation of leaders committed to meaningful civic engagement, service to the community, and intercultural understanding and dialogue.
In addition to supporting student projects in Southeast Michigan, your gifts in 2021 and 2022 will also provide scholarship support to a small group of MCSP students to travel to South Africa with our partners at Global Scholars Program and the African Studies Center in May 2022. Our host, Inkululeko, is a nonprofit organization in Makhanda (Grahamstown) that promotes social transformation through education. MCSP participants will have the opportunity to connect with local citizen-change agents and learn about how South Africa is living into its dream of a just, democratic, multiracial society.
