RTG Seminar on Number Theory Seminar

On p-adic de Rham cohomology
Monday, October 4, 2021
3:00-4:00 PM
Zoom Meeting ID: 933 4945 1111, Passcode: 994946 Off Campus Location
In this talk, we will discuss an approach to de Rham cohomology in the p-adic context using group schemes and similar concrete structures. I will mention the compatibility with the previous approach with the more abstract stacky approach to de Rham cohomology due to Drinfeld. Then I will explain the classification of all the endomorphisms of de Rham cohomology and a proof of the recent refinement of Deligne--Illusie decomposition (due to Drinfeld and Bhatt-Lurie) using this approach obtained in join work with Shizhang Li.
