One generalization of the Riemann zeta function over function field is the Carlitz zeta function, which sums up (-m)th power of all monic polynomials over a finite field. There is a very nice analogy of the values this zeta function at positive "even" numbers, due to Carlitz in 1935. We will go through the proof for this analogy. Speaker(s): Angus Chung (UM)
