Holomorphic anomaly equations for the quintic 3-fold
Monday, November 27, 2017
4:00-6:00 PM
4096 East Hall Map
In this talk, I will talk about the two holomorphic anomaly equations for the quintic 3-folds. I will first introduce two equivalent forms for the equations, and explain how we do integrations by using these two equations to get information of the Gromov-Witten invariants of the quintic 3-folds. Then I will recall the localization formula for the quintic introduced in our recent paper, and explain how we transfer the twisted invariants mentioned into another type of twisted invariants. Finally I will try to explain how we are going to prove the two equations.
This is a joint work in progress with Felix Janda and Yongbin Ruan. Speaker(s): Shuai Guo (Peking University/Michigan)
