 Thesis Defense Schedule
The goal of the Doctoral Program is to produce graduates wellprepared to go on to successful careers in the mathematical sciences, whether in academic, governmental, or industrial positions. While the dissertation is the centerpiece of the program, for many careers, the breadth provided by the various course requirements is of equal importance.
Every winter, the Admissions and Fellowships Committee of the Department of Mathematics review applications to the graduate programs and admit students to the following Fall term. Details regarding admission requirements and application information can be found on our Admissions page.
