Why did you want to become an SA? I wanted to become an SA because I couldn’t imagine not being a part of LSWA when I pictured my future at U of M since I love the community so much. LSWA not only encouraged me to experiment and delve deeper into my art, but also introduced me to incredible people who played a huge role in making my freshman year a fun and transformative time. As an SA, I want to help foster the same welcoming and exciting environment I was surrounded by my first year.
What hopes do you have for the upcoming year? I hope to get to know new people and make some great memories with everyone. I also hope to grow in my creativity and skill so I can create work I feel proud of.
Is there anything you'd like to say to future LSWA students? Don’t be afraid to take chances on yourself and your art–the LSWA community is definitely an encouraging and safe place to do so!
