Why did you want to become an RA? I’m an RA because I can’t get enough of LSWA. Being a part of Lloyd Scholars during my first year at Michigan was the single best college decision I made. It made a massive campus feel a little bit more like a home, and I have met the most incredible, talented, creative, caring people in the program. I want as much time surrounded by this collective of amazing, unique people and ideas as possible, and I hope I can help foster such a welcoming community for other Umich students!
What hopes do you have for the upcoming year? My goal is to further my connections with such an empowering community. I want to meet new people, get to know the ones I have already met on a deeper level, and keep building on myself. I hope to feed my curious and creative side with new ideas from new people in the realms of art, writing, and everything in between.
Is there anything you'd like to say to future LSWA students? You can be whoever you want to be in college. It’s a place of immense change and growth, and I truly cannot think of a safer place to explore yourself than LSWA. Take advantage of all the unique opportunities you will have to meet new people and learn from them.
