Why did you want to become an SA? I wanted to become an SA because I absolutely loved LSWA as a freshman, even in a mostly virtual format, and I really wanted to be able to experience it in person. Everyone I met was so welcoming and supportive and all of the classes, clubs, and events were so much fun and I can’t wait to experience it all in person next year.

What hopes do you have for the upcoming year? I’m hoping that I can make all the incoming freshmen’s experience of LSWA even better than mine was. I want to show them how welcoming this community is and encourage them to be the best they can be. I’m also looking forward to experiencing in-person programming for the first time myself!

Is there anything you’d like to say to future LSWA students? Come with an open mind. You never know who you’ll become friends with or what you’ll be good at, so try new things and come to events! Everyone wants you to succeed here, and all the talented artists will inspire you and push you to be better. I’m sure you’ll create amazing things.
