Lloyd Scholars for Writing and the Arts

  • College: LSA
  • Major: English, with a focus on historical context and mechanics
  • Hometown: Port Huron, MI

Why did you want to become a CM? I wanted to become a CM because the Lloyd Scholars community means the world to me. Here, I can further my drive to express myself, I’m surrounded by people who want to help me succeed in my personal artistic endeavors, and I feel that the community has given so much to me throughout the last two years, that it’s my duty to give back to the community as much as I now can.

What hopes do you have for the upcoming year? I hope to instill a passion in incoming students in things that I’m passionate about—i.e. children’s literature and writing stories no one wants to write.

Is there anything you'd like to say to future LHSP students? Use the Lloyd Scholars Program to seek out what you’re singularly passionate about, and you’ll set the world aflame. No one else can input what you can input into the world.
