Carol Tell is the director of the Lloyd Scholars for Writing and the Arts and a lecturer in the Sweetland Center for Writing. After attending Bowdoin College for her undergraduate degree, she did her Ph.D. in English in Dublin, Ireland, focused on Irish poetry. She likes to read, write, listen to podcasts and audiobooks, watch movies, and knit. She lives in Detroit with her husband, daughter, and border collie.
