SWC is Looking for U of M Student Artwork
My name is Megan Spitz and I am the current Peer Tutor Program Coordinator for the Sweetland Writing Center. It is my pleasure to announce that we are redecorating our Angell Hall center and we are looking for U of M student artwork.
We are contacting you because we hope that some of your students in your classes would be interested in applying. We would greatly appreciate it if you could forward this to your students and encourage them to apply.
The theme is "My letter to the world/that never wrote to me" from one of Emily Dickenson's poems. Submissions should reflect their artists' messages to the world, in whichever art form is acceptable to them. Paintings, photos, and any other piece of art that can be hung are acceptable.
Submissions are due Friday, November 4, by 5 PM. We ask that submissions are uploaded on the Sweetland PT Program's CTools site in the Art Contest Submissions folder in the Drop Box, as PDF documents. If a student is unable to submit this way, please email the PDF file to me at [email protected]. Students will be notified about the contest's results by Friday, December 2nd. Please fill out this form to enter: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?hl=en_US&formkey=dGpsbmJvWEJRdGFYVy1jTURVRTlDbnc6MQ#gid=0
Thank you for your help in redecorating our peer tutor center!
