End-of-semester Special Events!

Monday, December 1, 2014
12:00 AM
Alice Lloyd Hall

As the semester draws to a close, several of LHSP's clubs are planning special events to show off the creative work they've done this semester and give back to the community!

Not only will you get to see some fantastic work from and have some great experiences with your fellow LHSPers, but you'll also be able to earn a half-point for participation in these events!

Dance Club - Fusion of Cultures Event

Date: Saturday, December 6
Time: 7:30pm
Location: Michigan Union

Multi-ethnic groups from across campus are coming together to showcase their cultures--from food to singing to dancing!  Dance Club is leading an end-of-semester event, open to all, to experience this excellent and special event.

Want more info?  Contact Dance Club leaders Gabe Baugher (gabebaug@umich), Victoria Rilett (vlrilett@umich), Williamena Kwapo (wilkwapo), or Breonna Singleton (breonico@umich).

Poetry Club - End-of-semester Showcase

Date: Friday, December 12
Time: 7pm
Location: Vicki Barner Lounge

Poets, poetry enthusiasts, and all creative community-members are invited to this showcase and open mic night.  Even if you are not a member of Poetry Club, you are welcome to jump up to the open mic and take part in some spoken word--or just sit back and enjoy listening!

Refreshments will be provided, and conversation will take place following the showcase.

Photo Club - Photography Exhibit
