Couzens Hall, Classroom 1413
The Extemporaneous Art Club, or “Extemp,” invites student painters, artists, writers, sculptors, photographers, graphic novelists and others with a creative bent to attend. The overriding goal is to challenge members with new and different forms of thinking, envisioning, and creating.
At each meeting, members are presented with a new prompt or idea to use as inspiration for a piece they complete for the next meeting. Members are asked to make at least one piece outside their usual artistic genre in order to experience and better understand the creative process.
