THE MULTI-CULTURAL FESTIVAL AND EXHIBIT GALLERY

Wednesday, December 7, 2011
12:00 AM
Couzens Hall, Multi-Purpose Room

LHSP and CAMEO (Couzens Multicultural Council) is hosting a “Holiday on the Hill” party to celebrate the December holidays, the diversity of different cultures across campus, and, of course, the end of the first semester! This event will be open to all of the dorms on the Hill
You can bring as many friends from other dorms as you want! But that’s not all: There will be FREE food representing cultures from all over the world, FREE performances (think dance teams, ComCo, spoken word performances, and a cappella groups), an art gallery of work by LHSP students in the School of Art and Design and the Public Art Club, gingerbread house making, ornament making, and networking with multicultural student groups from all across campus. We would love for all of the LHSP students to be there, since this event will incorporate many artistic and literary elements. (Also, did we mention that there will be free food?) (and, the opportunity to earn .5 points!) But, you can do more than just attend - you can display a work of art, recite a poem, or tell a holiday story! Sing for us! Dance for us! Make us laugh! If you would like to participate in some way, contact Stevon Rendon, srendon@umich.edu, for more information. There’s still time to sign on. There will be something for everyone at this celebration of cultures; we hope that everyone can attend, and we can’t wait to see you all there!
