Sept. 15, 2016—Today, the University of Michigan Board of Regents approved a $35 million plan to renovate the LSA Building to create a space for the new LSA Internship Program and Opportunity Hub. The project will revitalize approximately 24,500 square feet on the first floor and construct an addition of approximately 18,000 square feet. The addition will be constructed on the west side of the building, facing Regents’ Plaza and the iconic Cube sculpture.

"In collaboration with others in the U-M community, Hub staff will facilitate access to internships, funding, employer partnerships, and alumni mentors so students can explore diverse opportunities, discover what matters most to them, and put their liberal arts education to work," says LSA Dean Andrew D. Martin.
